Salman Khan was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His father Salim Khan is a famous script writer of Bollywood and mother Sushila Charak (now Salma Khan) is a housewife. By the way, his ancestors were Afghani Pathans, who had migrated to Indore, MP.

His stepmother is actress Helen. From whom he got brothers like Arvaaz and Sohail and sister like Alivira. Apart from this, his family adopted Arpita, who is his youngest sister.

Salman Khan Childhood & Education - 

When Salman was young, his father moved to Mumbai to become an actor and here he became a prolific scriptwriter. Till now Salman was studying in Scindia School of Gwalior.

But when his father was completely settled in Mumbai, then he called his entire family to Mumbai. Now Salman Khan was ten years old.

Here his father got his admission in St. Got it done at Stanislaus High School, Bandra. There he wrote neither Hindu nor Muslim in the religion column in the admission form. Rather, he became the forerunner of the example of Hindu-Muslim in Bollywood by writing the word human.

Apart from Bollywood, he also tried in Hollywood. In which his only film was Marigold: An Adventure in India, which was based on the love of an Indian young man and an American lady.
Salman started following this tradition of his father from a young age. The rule of his school was that the children of the older house would bring food for the poor children of the school.

But Salman went a step ahead of this rule and used to bring all the poor children of the school to his house. Then his mother Salma used to feed all the children with great love.

Even today when Salman is on a shoot, his mother sends food for the ntire unit with Salman.

His father used to beat him with a roll of paper. Then Salman angrily used to do su-su on that paper itself. That's why he loves his mother more than his father. After coming from school, he did not stay away from his mother even for a minute.

The first film of this production house was Chillar Party, which was a huge success. The film also won Best Children's Film, Best Original Screenplay as well as Best Child Artist Awards.

After this, in 2014, he made a second production house named Salman Khan Film. Under which the Canadian film Dr.Cabbie was produced, which became Canada's second highest-grossing film. Apart from this, Hero and Bajrangi Bhaijaan were also made in this production house.

These days Salman got entry in Bollywood with the desire to become a director. But he first worked as an assistant director. After that he turned to modelling.

Due to work, he also missed the second year of college. While modeling in 1983, he used to get only 250 rupees a month. At the same time, he kept looking for acting work, but he never took the help of his father's name.

Due to which he got his first break in the film “Biwi Ho To Aisi” after a long five years, in this film he got the role of supporting actor.
His acting in this film was fine, but director JK Bihari did not like his voice, and his voice was dubbed. Due to which Salman fought with the director. Then his voice was cast in the film. Despite this, the film was average at the box office.

In 1989, he was offered the lead role in Sooraj Barjatya's romantic film Maine Pyar Kiya. It was from this film that the superhit debut of Sallu Bhai's Prem Wale Roop. Not only did the film become a superhit on the strength of excellent dialogues, songs and story, but in terms of earnings, it was included in the top ten list of Indian film earnings.

His 1991 films Patthar Ke Phool, Sanam Bewafa, Qurban and Saajan were successful. But suddenly his success running on the tracks was derailed in 1992 and 1993 and not a single film of his became a hit in these two years.

For the first time in 1995, worked with the King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan in Thrilling Movie Karan Arjun.
